The Sportsman Inn Ambleside

Run by Michelle and Mike, the Sportsman, known locally as 'Sporties' is a lively family run entertainment pub/sports bar, with live music at weekends and a disco bar downstairs on Wednesdays and Saturday nights.

The Sportsman also serves excellent bar meals 12 - 2.30pm and 5-7
Monday -Friday, 12-6 satarday &  Sunday, with delicious traditional chicken or beef roasts  available on Sundays. ( No food available on Tuesdays)

Thursday night is QUIZ NIGHT come along and join the fun' 9pm start free enty  for all.

The pub serves a full range of beers, ales, wines, spirits and cocktails, including, three real ales; Lancashire Bomber, Thwaites Original and a guest ale as well as Carlsberg Lagers  Heineken and Guinness etc.

A full range of major sports are shown on the plasma screens via Sky Sports and Setanta.

The Sportsman Inn is children (welcome up to 8.30 pm) walker and (well behaved) dog friendly.
